PARCS11 Troubleshooting

Before calling PARCS for support, try this:
* Reboot PC
* Update to latest PARCS build
* Run SYA11 (to Backup and run Repair Compact)

If above does not fix problems "CALL SUPPORT" (You need an active support contract for support)
In a slow clear voice leave your name, park, phone number and reason for calling

If all fails simply restore P1100DB.ACCDB file from last good backup
(Check c:\SYA11 folder on PARCS11 server or your backup USB drive or Cloud backup)

NOTES: To do a Repair Compact on P1100DB.ACCDB  (PARCS must be closed on all PC's)
"P1100DB.ACCDB" file contains all your reservations and customers so backup off site
Only ONE copy of MS Office Access should be on PC "ACCESS 2016" (uninstall and other copies of Access)
Never run PARCS thru two switches on a network only 1 to connect DB with all clients

An Inconsistent database is caused by the network - fixed is by a repair/compact on the database
If issue presists it's probably because the network (try reducing size of DB by removing old reservations, run chkdisk, defragging(non-SSD) and updating Windows)
Windows 10 update 1803 causes inconsistent state due to network leasing parameter issues. - Update to Current Windows 10 build, have tech check MS KB
Disable the leasing on the file server. To do this, run the following command:
REG ADD HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver\parameters /v DisableLeasing /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

Corrupt non fixable database causes below - fix is to restore from last good backup
Hardware failure - is one of the most common causes of corrupt Access database. If the hardware (hard drive or any other storage media) used to store the Access database files has bad sectors, etc.
Sudden Shutdown - is another top cause of corruption in the MS Access database. This can happen due to accidental system shutdown, power surge/outage in the absence of power backup, or system overload when the system closes while the Access file is open.
Weak Network Connectivity - Any interruption caused due to weak network connection and inappropriately installed plug-in also causes corruption in the Access database. (Don't connect over WiFi)
Disconnecting from a Database Incorrectly - Access database corruption is often the result of erroneously disconnecting from a database.
